as of right now, no. The borders to Thailand are closed. If you are in Thailand and you are applying for an extension of stay based on retirement, there is no insurance requirements. Fraser **********

A non-o visa does not require insurance, a non-OA does before the borders closed. However, this is moot because the borders are closed and there may be changes in insurance requirements after the borders reopen
