Hi, can anybody tell me where to find a list of insurance companies that Thai Immigration accepts, i looked at tgia.org but it only had about 12 companies on there, thinking of going with Alliance ACS with Arawan Namak or Regency, i just want barebones covid/health insurance to allow me to stay here longer on my OA visa. Thanks to all, appreciate it.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking a comprehensive list of insurance companies that are accepted by Thai Immigration, particularly for an OA visa. They have found limited information at tgia.org and are considering options such as Alliance ACS, Arawan, and Regency. Various commenters suggest exploring insurance options through banks or phone providers, consulting with PacificCare, and checking resources like Mister Prakan and AQ.in.th for suitable health insurance policies.

Try Mister Prakan. They have a range of Thai health insurance policies that are cheap with the basic cover.

They accept any insurance as long as it meets the guidelines. You have contacted Arawan already so she knows what is required.

There are only 14 approved health/covid insurance companies for OA visas and extensions. You must choose an applicable policy from an approved entity.

You can’t just choose a health insurance policy from DTac or a life insurance policy your bank. SMH.

is this a retirement plan?

Much better to enter Thailand on a tourist visa. Then apply in country for an extension of stay based on retirement.

That way health insurance (not covid insurance) is currently not required and if you do want health insurance you can purchase it from any provider in any country and not just the 14 Thai companies approved by Thailand.
