TLDR : Answer Summary
To cancel a retiree visa in Bangkok, you do not need an appointment; it must be done as a walk-in. It's also noted that you cannot cancel a retirement visa if you are still on the initial entry stamp and leaving Thailand without a re-entry permit is sufficient to invalidate your visa. Cancellations of retirement extensions are generally not common under normal circumstances.

No appointment is available for cancellations. You have to do it as a walk-in.

You cannot cancel a retirement "visa" if you are still on the entry (or initial) stamp from an actual visa. You just need to leave Thailand without a re-entry permit to invalidate your visa.

Usually an extension based on being over 50 doesn't have to be cancelled. I don't know anyone who applied for cancellation of retirement extension under normal circumstances.

What reason do you want to cancel your retirement visa or extension?
