TLDR : Answer Summary
To cancel a retiree visa at immigration in Bangkok, you do not need an appointment; it must be done as a walk-in. Additionally, it's important to note that you cannot cancel a retirement visa if you are still on an entry stamp. In most cases, you simply need to leave Thailand without a re-entry permit to invalidate your visa.

No appointment is available for cancellations. You have to do it as a walk-in.
You cannot cancel a retirement "visa" if you are still on the entry (or initial) stamp from an actual visa. You just need to leave Thailand without a re-entry permit to invalidate your visa.
Usually an extension based on being over 50 doesn't have to be cancelled. I don't know anyone who applied for cancellation of retirement extension under normal circumstances.
What reason do you want to cancel your retirement visa or extension?
