Do I need a temp visa to stay in Loas for Mac three days whilst I visit the embassy to get my working visa?

Background: I’m a British Passport holder on first 30 day tourist visa, I have all certificates to hand as well as an employment contract for a Thai school. I now need to travel to Loas to get my working visa sorted.
