After reading this I followed this link below and found out every time you leave your home to travel around Thailand you will have to redo the TM30 when you get back..

Seems like a lot of reporting to do if like myself I plan to be getting around a lot🤔

This explains the TM30 plainly..

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion focuses on the requirement of filing a TM30 form when residing in Thailand, specifically in relation to having a yellow house book. Despite the misunderstanding, it is clarified that a yellow house book does not exempt one from the TM30 requirement. A TM30 must be filled out for every return to your residence in Thailand after travel, as it is a registration of your current address, while the yellow house book serves as proof of a more permanent residence.

Get pink id card and check into hotels with that

Yellow house book has nothing to do with TM30.

Each immigration office has their own policy on when you have to do a TM30. You should ask your immigration office what their policy is. Some want it every time you leave your home and return to the same address. Some only want it if you leave Thailand and return to the same address.

a yellow housebook and the TM30 registration of you staying at a certain accomodation, have NOTHING to do with each other. A TM30 ist a registration of your adress at any location inside Thailand if you travel or if you arestaying permanently at the given address. A Yellow housebook is just a subsidiary of the "certificate of residence" from Immigration, certfying where you are "usually" staying and being "at home"
