Hello everyone, I am gathering some info concerning this process. I just found out in a website that the application for the DTV has to be made from the country you have your employment / country you live in? Is that true? Thanks a lot

TLDR : Answer Summary
The application for the Thailand Digital Visa (DTV) can be submitted from a country where you are legally residing, not necessarily your country of citizenship or employment. It must be done from outside Thailand, specifically through a Thai embassy or consulate in that country. Some individuals apply from a third country as long as they prove their legal stay there.

Not exactly. The DTV application does not have to be submitted from your country of citizenship or where your employer is based. It must be submitted from outside Thailand, through a Thai embassy or consulate in a country where you are legally staying. Many people apply from a third country where they are temporarily residing, as long as they can prove legal stay there.
