Hello everyone, I am gathering some info concerning this process. I just found out in a website that the application for the DTV has to be made from the country you have your employment / country you live in? Is that true? Thanks a lot

TLDR : Answer Summary
The application for the Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) does not necessarily have to be made from your country of employment or citizenship. You can apply from any country where you are legally staying, typically through a Thai embassy or consulate. Be sure to check the specific rules for the embassy where you plan to apply, as they can vary.
Everything depends on which embassy you're applying at.

You can apply from any country that allows you to apply. Some countries only allow citizens/residents to apply

Not exactly. The DTV application does not have to be submitted from your country of citizenship or where your employer is based. It must be submitted from outside Thailand, through a Thai embassy or consulate in a country where you are legally staying. Many people apply from a third country where they are temporarily residing, as long as they can prove legal stay there.
