Can traveling to Cambodia affect my entry into Thailand with a DTV for the first time?
I got my DTV approved in Ho Chi Minh and I’m in Vietnam now. I want to travel to Cambodia for a week or two, then back to Vietnam for a few days and then fly to Thailand. Can the trip to Cambodia cause issues with entering Thailand with my DTV for the first time?

No. I have been to Cambodia twice since October of last year on my DTV. No questions were asked at all.

Should still be fine as long as your DTV is valid and you can explain your travel plans if asked. Immigration usually cares more about visa validity, passport history, and whether your situation makes sense overall.
