Can the embassy request additional documents during the approval stage of a visa application?
Has anyone been asked for Request of Additional documents during the pending approval stage? I feel like I messed up by missing to attach something. Called embassy here they said it’s out of their hands as it’s send forward for more checking before approval so I’m wondering can they request extra docs or will they likely just reject if there is something missing this late in?
Doc requested was business registration which I sent the companies house registration number rather than the actual document even though I have the document and only thought of this after. Rookie mistake I know

Answer summary
A user is concerned about a potential missing document during their visa approval process, specifically whether the Thai embassy can request additional documents at this stage or if a rejection is more likely. Community members reassure that the embassy may request further documentation if needed and suggest monitoring the application status for updates.

The Evisa after passing document check gets forwarded to Bangkok for sign off. That’s why there appears to be block approval on a Sunday night

all you can do is wait it out, check the status on the system and watch for an email requesting extra documentation

I didn't think they would do this in the 'pending approval' stage though - although I hope they do rather than just flat out reject
