TLDR : Answer Summary
The original book (Tabien Baan) where your wife is registered is required for the Non-O visa application, even if you are in a different province. A copy from any district office will not suffice; it must be a copy of the actual book, signed by her.

You need a copy of the actual book and it must be signed by her.

Thai people listed in the blue housebook (Tabien Baan) you need a copy of the book in which she is listed, It does not matter if she officially is listed in another province.

You're going to visit a Thai Consulate or Embassy for a Non Immigrant O visa. Or are you going to apply for a Non Immigrant O visa or an Extension of Stay at your local Immigration Office and where is that located?
