Can my wife apply for a spouse visa in Thailand after I get my DTV visa if we don’t have a legalized marriage certificate yet?

My wife and I are traveling in Vietnam and wanted to apply DTV.

I am a remote worker and have all required documents. But my wife run her own small eCommerce store and doesn't have paperworks.

We also don't have legally translated marriage certificate.

So we are thinking, I will apply DTV and she will apply tourist visa. Once inside Thailand, we will get our marriage certificate legalized in Thailand. After that, can she apply spouse visa at the immigration office or does she need to leave to apply from another country?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user plans to apply for a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) while in Vietnam, along with their wife who runs an eCommerce store but lacks formal paperwork. They need to legalize their marriage certificate in Thailand before the wife can apply for a spouse visa. Comments suggest that the marriage certificate should be legalized first, and that the wife may be able to apply for a DTV dependent visa after the user's DTV approval, although there's also a point that she might need to leave Thailand for this process.

I think u should do legally translate marriage certificate first. Its not take too long. Just a couple of days. And ur dtv process may take a weeks. Ur wife depemdent dtv visa can apply after u got dtv visa. So i think u have sufficient time to marriage certificate
