Can my partner apply for the DTV Workation visa with low income while I'm supporting her financially?

Hi there, I'm about to apply this month for the DTV Workation from SPAIN (I fulfil the economic and remote work requirements), to relocate before mid-2026.

However, my couple will apply in a couple of months from now, and may struggle a bit more for the economical requirements. I'm totally supporting her and have funds for living both, but not sure if this is considered when she applies later (we're not married). I'm periodically sending money to her in small batches via joint-account to help her meet the criteria. She's self-employed in Spain and runs online shops, but sales are not going so good recently, and her income is not so high these days.

Do you think she may struggle to get accepted for the DTV Workation as having low income now; or source of minimum funds be challenged?

In case she gets denied, should be an option for her to reapply short after but for SOFT POWER instead? The thing is that we would stay for 7-10 months in Thai, but we will live in different places during this period, as want to know different regions. I don't have much knowledge about the DTV soft-power requirements. Any help will be much appreciated 🙇 Thxx!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The applicant is seeking advice about the financial requirements for their partner's DTV Workation visa application, particularly considering her low income from running online shops in Spain. The advice indicates that, since they are not married, the financial support from the applicant may not be relevant for the partner's application. It's mentioned that there is no minimum income requirement as long as the partner can demonstrate remote work and has sufficient savings (500,000 baht or equivalent). If denied, the partner cannot apply for the Soft Power visa if intending to work remotely from Thailand.

If you are not married your support is irrelevant. There is no minimum income requirement so if she can show she works remotely, even with a modest income, she should be OK but will of course also need the 500k baht or equivalent in her bank as well. If she will work remotely from inside Thailand soft power is not appropriate, she'll need to stick with workation.

If not legally married, then it's two completely separated applications.
