TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about options for switching from a COVID-19 extension of a volunteer visa to an education visa in Thailand. Responses indicate mixed opinions on the possibility of extending the volunteer visa through official channels, but generally advise that there may not be alternative options available, such as switching to an education visa, without leaving the country. One suggestion includes obtaining a non-immigrant visa and a work permit based on their work in the diving industry.

Some of our staff on volunteer visas + COVID extensions have had success in getting extensions sponsored by the Ministry of Social Development (MHSDS). Worth a shot if you are truly are volunteering.

Sadly (for you) nope, you're done πŸ™ ,

You can stay as long as the covid stamp you have in your passport is valid for but you have to leave/re-enter the country after that.

There is no 'other option' available to you πŸ˜•

As you are working in the diving industry here, why not get a non-b and a work permit?

Btw you can currently drop to 1 staff (COVID again) but 4 months before wp renewal you'll need to up it back to 4 .
