Can my boyfriend on a SETV visa extend his stay in Thailand without leaving the country?

Hello, I have been looking this info for days and don´t seem to find a clear answer. I am Thai but my boyfriend is Finn and is in ASQ right now. He holds a SETV visa and this I know that it is a 60 day visa that you can extend for an additional 30 days. But my question is that can he extend it after those 30 days again without leaving the country cause then he would have to ASQ again and we dont want that. Does the Covid visa extension help him since I heard its about to come to an end? His 90 day visit would end in the end of June. Is there a way to stay longer and how? Thank you for all the answers in advance.

if he's in ASQ he just arrived ;) And on the SETV you are correct he got stamped in for 60 days and can apply for a 30 day extension ONCE after that for 1900baht.

Now as far as the covid extensions; at this time the program allowing them runs until May 29th. No one knows if it will or won't be extended past that. SO he's gonna wait and watch the news just like everyone else at the end of May and see what they announce.
