I am entering thailand tomorrow at BKK on a 30-day visa exempt.
Has anyone tried to use the AOT app in lieu of the tm8 to provide information needed on entry ?
The bangkok post says about the app.. "The information includes phone numbers, addresses, passport number and name." See-- [members only]
i downloaded the AOT App and signed up for an account but it seems to set up your profile they just ask for name, email, phone and birthdate... but nothing about a passport number or address where i am staying in thailand.
I checked every option on the app that i could think of but did not see where to enter additional information that might also be found on the tm 8.
TLDR : Answer Summary
A person is planning to enter Thailand on a 30-day visa exemption and is inquiring whether the AOT app can be used instead of the TM8 form to provide necessary entry information. They note that the app requests limited personal information and do not see an option to enter required details like passport number or address. Replies indicate that the page is focused more on visa advice, urging them to check with airlines for specific health check procedures and forms.
