TLDR : Answer Summary
The question asks whether one can use soft power to attend a Vipassana retreat in Thailand. A comment suggests that Thai authorities may not expect this approach, citing that Buddhist monks generally do not possess money and recommending alternatives like cooking courses that could potentially generate more income tax revenue.

The Thai authorities won't expect anyone to do this because Buddhist monks don't have money... better do cooking course... that will also incur major income tax revenue... 🤣🤣🤣🤣
