So I’ve been traveling SE Asia with Thailand as home base. I’ve been running on a 6 month METV and just gotten stamped back in last week. Since the visa is expiring, this got me another 60 day stamp.

I’m leaving for India on Wednesday with a two month tourist visa there (which is hardly enough time from what I understand), by which time my 60 days will have expired. 

I have not done flown back into country or used my visa exemption since my initial arrival last fall. Just returned once via Cambodia.

What kind of visa can I plan for/acquire on my return? Can I get a visa in India? The longer the better.
