I had the smart visa for six months and after that, I have been applying the covid extension (applied already 3 times the covid extension) However, today I went to the Koh Phangan immigration and they said my covid extension is part of my smart visa and that now I cant apply for covid extension anymore.
Did anyone have the same problem? Or do you know anything about it?
Thank you all!!!!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification regarding the possibility of applying for a Covid extension after having transitioned from a Smart Visa. Responses indicate that Covid extensions are only applicable for Tourist Visas or Visa Exempt stamps, and the user's current status with a Smart Visa does not qualify for further extensions. It is advised that they may need to leave Thailand as the Covid extension will likely be rejected in this scenario.
You need to feel blessed for getting a few extension.

You will need to leave Thailand. The 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19 only applies for people who's most recent visa is either a Tourist Visas or Visa Exempt.
You can apply for a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19, however it will be rejected and you will have 7 days to leave Thailand.

Covid extension now only allowed for TR and exempt stamps. All non-immigrant visas now required standard extension, or if not available leave/re-enter country
