May I ask a question regarding the following listed number 9 for Non-B extension.

I try to get Por Ngaw Daw 91 but the revenue department said my application of tax haven’t finished yet and only give me Por Ngaw Daw 90.

My question is can I still use 90 for Visa Extension?

Thanks 🙏🏼

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring whether they can use form Por Ngaw Daw 90 to apply for a Non-B visa extension, as they have not yet completed the application for Por Ngaw Daw 91, which is typically required for reporting salary income. Comments provide clarification on the purposes of each form and suggest that an explanatory letter might be helpful in the application process.

In my understanding: Pnd.91 is for reporting salary income (incl. Bonus and comish) paid by your employer and suject to Pnd.1 deductions each month. Pnd.90 is for reporting "other income" which is charged for services and subject to 3% withholding tax. Typically foreigners wouldn't declare Pnd.90 income as such "other income" services (i.e. consulting) would conflict with the Work Permit scope. Hoping this helps.

Y'r right but I think they don't care SO much. I have Pension, no salary, so thought to file a PND90. Lady revenue office just took a PND91. But guess it's getting 'a bit' of topic....🤐😉

I'm confused by your post.

1. In most cases, the business, and not you, should collect the documents for the one year extension of stay based on employment.

2. In parentheses, it says "or an explanatory letter". Have you tried submitting an explanatory letter why you can't get the Por.Por 91 and only the Por.Pro 90?

My business asked me to collect as it is my personal income Tax, last year I did too.

But this year, the revenue department takes too long to finalize my tax application. They didn’t give me explanation why it’s taking more than a month. They just said haven’t finished and that’s why they can’t give me 91 and give me 90 instead. They even told me I can use this but I just want to confirm with others.

I would trust what the revenue department says. Just write a letter saying that Mr/Mrs/Miss said that they haven't finished doing the application of tax, and they are submitting a Por Pro 90 instead.
