ORIGINAL POSTER
G’day guys,

I am currently on Non-O 90days for thai spouse. We’re a same sex couple.

1. I am wondering if the financial requirement of 2months deposit 400,000thb can be replaced with my thai partner’s income as stated on immigration website for Thai Husband?

2. If i were to extend my non o another 60days, will i be able to proceed to 1 year extension without leaving the country?

Very much appreciated for the help and many thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster is on a Non-O visa for Thai spouses and inquires if their Thai partner's income can satisfy the financial requirement instead of needing a 400,000 THB deposit in their own name. A comment explains that only foreign females married to Thai males can use the spouse's income for this requirement. It also mentions that they can apply for a one-time 60-day family extension, providing time to meet the financial conditions for a one-year extension.

You are unable to use your thai spouse income to meet the financial requirements for foreigner married to thai national in a same sex marriage. That only works for foreign females married to thai males because they do not have the 400K baht requirement

You would have to bank 400K baht in a thai bank account in your name only for 2 months before you'd apply for the year marriage extension at the immigration office where you live.

You should be able to get the one time 60 day visit thai family extension and that would buy you time to get the 400K baht seasoned the required 2 months before you apply for the year extension
