Just read some confusing information. Is it true that you can present a bankstatement varified by your embassy showing that you have sufice funds instead of 20k in cash at immigration when entering the country?

Thanks for your advise 😀😀

TLDR : Answer Summary
No, you cannot use a bank statement verified by your embassy to prove sufficient funds when entering Thailand. Immigration requires cash (20,000 THB or equivalent) to be presented upon entry. While bank statements may be shown at Thai consulates prior to arrival, at immigration you must have the cash available, or you risk being denied entry.

And now the OP has his answer. It's CASH at entry.

Bank statement at Consulates. Thanks for the helpful replies.

Best to have 20k Baht like others mentioned. It’s not a lot of money but if you’re asked and don’t have it or an equivalent currency you can be denied entry.

Show CASH at Thai Immigration upon entry if asked.

NO. It's cash, either THB or the equivalent in another currency. Old-fashioned Travelers Cheques would also be acceptable.
