So I have a visa exempt + extension. But due to some issues I may have to leave a 2 or 3 days after my extension ends. I have heard that it is possible to get another 7 days from immigration... is this true? or is it better to just pay the overstay fees?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the possibility of obtaining a 7-day extension from immigration after their current visa extension ends, or if it would be better to pay the overstay fees. Community responses advise against overstaying and suggest applying for an extension at immigration, noting that if denied, a 7-day period is granted to leave Thailand. It's important to apply for this extension at the appropriate time, as the 7 days commence immediately upon application.
If you do the 7 day refusal, bear in mind that the 7 days will start from whenever you apply for it, it does NOT get added on the end like the 30 days does. So don't apply too early.
