Accountant/bookkeeping DTV

Has anyone successfully applied for DTV as an accountant or bookkeeper?

Obviously would be remote working and not client facing.

I can get all the documents for a UK registered company and employment contract (I’m one do the directors and job role is accountant). 500,000+ in Bangkok Bank saving account for three months and 6+ months payslips from the company to UK bank account.

Was going to use an agent but the owner actually advised I do it myself. Currently on ED visa through them for a number of years. They were charging 65,000 baht and I think I would have been one of the first to use their DTV service with no guarantees it is accepted as per all agents.

Going apply for the DTV myself in Vientiane next month (only 180km drive from Khon Kaen) and really appreciate all the posts and advice on here.

Distance to the Embassy you apply at is irrelevant, since you shall be in that country during the whole visa process, and are not allowed to go home in that period.

I run my own bookkeeping business and got the DTV in Vancouver Canada in July 2024. I included 2 client contracts (include remote work clause), 3 months worth of my biz bank statements and a cover letter explaining what I do, for how long I've been doing it and my monthly revenue. Proof of CAD equivalent to 500,000THB. I also added a screenshot of my Canada Revenue Agency business account. I think that was kinda it. Good luck 👍🏽

Can easily apply yourself, show you work online, submit business registration docs, permission letter to work remotely in Thailand. I recall someone from the UK posted about applying via book keeping/accounting. Their post maybe in the threads.
