I did an extension back in February, then went back to the states for summer, and recently did an extension last month.
I plan on doing a border run (my first one) before the 26th when my extension is over.
Can I do an extension off that re-entry so it goes into the next year?

TLDR : Answer Summary
In Thailand, the number of extensions you can apply for depends on the type of visa you entered with. If you entered as a tourist with a visa exempt or tourist visa, you are typically allowed one 30-day extension per entry. Additionally, it is possible to apply for another extension after completing a border run, as long as you meet the visa requirements.
