Can I enter Thailand on a tourist visa and switch to a Non-immigrant O visa for marriage?

Hi All,

I'm about to go to Thailand for long term stay on a marriage visa. I'm having delays to get my Canadian marriage certificate. Is it possible to go to Thailand on a tourist visa (60 days) and change it to a Non-immigrant-O inside Thailand? With all the quarantine and pandemic, I don't want to leave and quarantine again. Thank you :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is inquiring about the possibility of entering Thailand on a 60-day tourist visa and then changing it to a Non-immigrant O visa due to delays in obtaining a Canadian marriage certificate. A commenter confirmed that this is indeed possible, as many people have successfully done so.
