Can I Renew My Type B Visa in Thailand or Do I Need to Leave?

Hi everyone, just a quick question. I have the type b visa (business only, not business and work) and it expired during the amnesty period.

Do I need to leave the country to renew this visa as per usual or am I able to renew it in Thailand given the situation?

If the borders open w/ Laos or Cambodia am I able to get a new type b business visa at the border or is this only available at an embassy? Last time I renewed it at a proper embassy overseas.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires whether they need to leave Thailand to renew their Type B visa, which expired during the amnesty period, or if they can renew it within Thailand. They also ask if they can obtain a new visa at the border when crossing to Laos or Cambodia.

You need to leave the country and apply for a new visa, this type of visa only let je be in Thailand for business meetings, not to live and work in Thailand.
