TLDR : Answer Summary
A person with a retirement visa can have a 51% Thai shareholder and be a part owner of a business, but they cannot engage in any work activities, including basic tasks like opening the door. While they can oversee the business, direct involvement is not permitted. Retired persons married to Thai citizens may have different working rights.
