Quick question, I am on a multiple entry OA visa, currently in Thailand. An opportunity has come up but will require me to make a company to purchase it. Can I still effectively be a non working "director, share holder" whilst on this visa?
TLDR : Answer Summary
While holding a multiple entry OA visa in Thailand, you can own a company and be a shareholder, but there are specific conditions. It's permissible to be a non-working director if you do not derive any income from the business while residing in Thailand. Furthermore, if you're officially a managing director, it's advisable to sign documents outside of Thailand or appoint a trusted Thai managing director to handle signatures within the country.
