Can I obtain two 60-day tourist visas in a year if I have used 30-day visas on arrival before?

hello there.

when people talk about getting 2 visas a year, that means getting a 60 day visa in an embassy abroad right?

I just want to clarify that.

If that is the case does it matter how many times you’ve obtained a 30 day visa on arrival. In my case I’ve had 3 VOAs this year. So does that still mean I’m eligible for 2 60 day visas?

also with these 2 60 day visas you can have per year, is that calender year or 12 month period?

can you fly out and return by air getting a VOA as many times as you want?

Thanks for your answers in advance :-)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks clarification on obtaining two 60-day tourist visas in Thailand, particularly in relation to previous use of 30-day visas on arrival. They inquire whether the eligibility for the 60-day visas is affected by the number of VOAs used in a calendar year and if it's permissible to get multiple VOAs by flying out and back into Thailand.
