Hello again,

I just wondered if some could confirm this for me - can the non-immigrant O visa be acquired for visiting a fiancé or does 'spouse' mean specifically husband or wife?

Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Non-Immigrant O Visa in Thailand is specifically for spouses, which typically means legally married partners. If you are not yet married, you could consider obtaining a 60-day single entry tourist visa, which can be extended for an additional 30 days once in Thailand, allowing you to stay for a total of 90 days.

As
@Mic****
, said, you could get a 60 day single entry tourist visa, and then get a 30 day extension on that once you're here. That'd give you the 90 days you were asking about

So just to confirm does that mean to visit a fiancé the only option is to get a visa exempt/tourist visa? (Unless you go down the ED visa route for example....)
