TLDR : Answer Summary
The question pertains to whether an individual can leave and re-enter Thailand with an O-A visa without needing proof of medical insurance. Responses indicate uncertainty regarding new rules effective after October 31st, suggesting that while current interpretations may allow re-entry without insurance, this could change when applying for extensions or new visas in the future.

The new police order only refers to when you apply for a new non immigrant o-a visa or when you apply for a new extension of stay after having the non immigrant o-a visa. We like to keep the discussion in one place, if you have any further questions please comment on this link

I think you will have to wait until AFTER the 31st of Oct and find out how the immigration officers are going to interpret the rule.

In theory, yes, the way the rule is written until you apply for a yearly extension of stay on that visa at the immigration office you shouldn't have to show proof of insurance, BUT in reality it's anyone's guess.

I do have an insurance from InsureandGo but is not for the full period off my visa as I always go back to UK๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง for spring and summer.
