Hi everyone, I hope you're all doing well. I’m currently preparing my financial evidence for the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) application, and I wanted to clarify something.
The requirement is to show an amount of at least 500,000 THB, and I understand this can be done through bank statements or a sponsorship letter.
However, I have investments in a bank account. Even though these funds are not liquid, should I mention these investments in my bank statement as part of the financial evidence, or are only liquid funds required to be shown?
Thanks in advance for your help!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus from community members is that only liquid funds are accepted as financial evidence for the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV). Investments or non-liquid funds cannot be included, as the requirement is to show an amount of at least 500,000 THB in an accessible bank account. It’s advised to focus on recent bank statements reflecting liquid assets for your application.
You can mention it in your cover letter as to how easily accessible these funds are to you. However, it should be considered a supplementary fund, not the main basis of them assessing your application. Be prepared to show a more current account with recent transactions (they always want to see the most recent/active account).
