Can I ignore 90-day extension reminders related to my old passport after getting a new one in Thailand?

Hello I recently got a new passport and had my stamps transferred at my local immigration office. I also got a one-year extension after that. But I am still getting 90 day extension reminders by email from immigration for the old (now invalid) passport number. When I got the first one, I submitted an application with the new passport number and received a receipt of acknowledgment that I had notified them of my stay over 90 days. But then after another month or so I got anorher reminder to submit a 90-day report with the old passport number. Since I have proof that I am up to date with 90-day reports using my new passport number, can I just ignore these messages about my old passport number?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has received ongoing 90-day extension reminders linked to their old passport after updating to a new passport and receiving a one-year extension. Comments from the community confirm that these reminders can be ignored, as the immigration reminder system is not updated with the new passport information and operates on a simple timer.

The system doesn’t know that you’ve got a new passport. It’s just programmed to remind you that your last notification (from that old passport) is due. Just ignore it.

It’s the same as if you leave and return to Thailand. The system doesn’t know that the date reset when you re entered so will remind you erroneously.

I wonder if the system will know to send me a 90-day reminder after the last notification of receipt that I submitted with the new passport number because it had been <90 days since I got the new extension. The reminder came under the old passport number but I answered it with the new passport number, does that make sense?

Not really making sense to me but just to say if you’ve used the online 90 day reporting system with your new passport and that’s been accepted then it will send you a reminder from that on around 75 days after.

If you got a receipt from an immigration office then the system will not remind you.

Yes, you can safely ignore the messages. The reminder system isn't linked to anything and is a simple timer. It even sends out reminders if you're not even in the country.
