Hello!

I have completed my 2 border runs and in between extended my Visa exemption.

My question, can I extend again at immigration or find another way to change Visa. I'm over 50. I asked st Chaing Mai immigration and I can change. If I have a spare 800 000b handy.

Any suggestions anyone?

Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster has completed two border runs and extended their Visa exemption but is seeking advice on whether they can extend again at immigration or explore other Visa options, particularly since they are over 50 years old. A commenter suggests that if they recently received a new 30-day Visa Exempt Entry, they could apply for a 30-day Extension of Stay. Additionally, they mentioned the possibility of changing to a Non-Immigrant O Visa based on age, provided they meet the financial requirements of having 800,000 THB in a Thai bank account or proof of monthly deposits.

If you just got a new 30 day Visa Exempt Entry you can apply for the 30 day Extension of Stay. You can also if you have 21 days left on your current stay apply for the conversion to a Non Immigrant O visa based on being over 50 years of age and one of the requirements is that you have 800.000 Thb on a Thai bank account in your name and the money came in from abroad, or proof of 12 months of monthly foreign deposits of minimum 65.000 Thb month into your Thai bank account.

Than you have to find an Employer who is willing to get the paper works done for the Non Immigrant B visa and for the Work Permit, OR a volunteer organization that is willing to get the paper works done for the Non Immigrant O visa based on being a volunteer and the work permit for a volunteer. On both visa's you get 90 days of stay and could be extended with 1 year with documents from employer or volunteer organization, this can be done year after year.

Not married to thai and no children in Thailand.

For other options I have to know more personal details, like married to a Thai National, having a half Thai Child, willing to do volunteer work, willing to work, willing to go back to school etc

Go to a Thai Consulate for a Tourist Visa or fly out and back in for a new Visa Exempt Entry, but as you must have noticed, there are people getting denied on airports using these kind of entries back to back.

any other way after I extend my exemption in 30 days?
Robert *******
Only if you do the conversion from a Visa Exempt Entry or Tourist Visa into the Non Immigrant O visa based on being over 50 years of age. It does not have to be seasoned for this conversion.

if you are using 800,000 "banked money" is the requirement to show that it has come from abroad?
