Dear all,

I will move in 6 months in Bangkok from Singapore.

We would like to come with our helper. She is Filipino, do you know if it is possible to get a visa for domestic helper from Philippines and which visa?

Could you recommend an agency which could help in that process please? Thanks in advance for your help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion highlights the challenges of obtaining a visa for a Filipino domestic helper in Thailand. It notes that there is no visa or extension of stay specifically for domestic helpers and that they will have to apply separately but may face difficulties due to the availability of Thai domestic workers. One commenter expressed empathy for the situation, while another user sought advice on handling a similar case.

Hi, I hope my message reaches you. I'm in the same situation as you right now, I wonder how you handled Philippino Helper's visa.

would it be better if they employed her and didn't like her?

@Dave ******
yes you are absolutely correct, if they like her then she should be allowed to work in Thailand.

Your domestic helper would need to apply separately, but won't get in on that profession, as there are thousands of Thai domestic helpers looking for work

There is NO visa or extension of stay for domestic helpers.
