Hi Group! I have booked my Thai Cooking Classes for 6 months and going to apply for the DTV. Once my course is finished, can I apply for an additional 6 months course to validate my visa? However I wont be staying in Thailand for more than 40 days each time I enter.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about extending their DTV visa after completing a 6-month Thai cooking class, asking if they can enroll in another class to validate their visa while only staying in Thailand for up to 40 days per visit. Responses indicate that once the DTV visa is issued, there are no ongoing requirements from immigration, though the validity lasts for 5 years. However, some users note that immigration authorities may not recognize the DTV for extensions, suggesting alternative methods like 'border bouncing' to maintain visa status.
What people need to understand is that Immigration don't want anything to do with the DTV because they don't issue them. They don't have the application info on their system so have no way of validating them. Hence they're basically refusing to do extensions and telling people to border bounce.
