Hey,

My 60 days tourist visa ends on January 2nd.

I will be in Phuket tomorrow, and I would like to extended my visa. I was just wondering is it to early to extend or will I be able to extend it now?

Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about extending their 60-day tourist visa before its expiration date. A commenter clarifies that in Phuket, one can apply for a visa extension when there are 45 days or less remaining on the current visa, indicating that the user is not too early to extend their visa.

In Phuket you can apply for an extension when you have 45 days or less left on your current stamp

SO, you are NOT too early. You will be fine.
