Hello,

I just spent 5 days in Thaïland, if i come back next month on exempt visa ( i am french) so i will spend 60 days + 30 days extension, can i do a visa-run after that ?

Maybe spend 1 week outside of Thaïland and back is more safe ?

Or is better to apply for a tourist visa in Vientiane ?

Before that, i was not in Thaïland for 2 years.

Also, i will renew my passport, but they will still know when i been Thaïland, right ?

This question is asked all the time it’s not up to us it’s up to the IO you stand in front of more people have been successful by not getting the 30 day extension and border bouncing a week out of the country isn’t all that good luck

You'll probably be okay with a border bounce for another visa exemption. If you want to play 100% safe, you can apply for a six-month multiple-entry tourist visa at home before you leave or get a land border transport company to bounce you out and back. New passports makes no difference.
