TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can complete the TDAC (Thailand Visit Declaration) at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) before proceeding through immigration. However, it is highly recommended to complete the TDAC online before your flight to avoid long queues and potential complications. Many travelers have noted that airline staff may request to see the TDAC during check-in and that waiting to fill it out at the airport can add extra time to your arrival experience. There are kiosks available at BKK for completing the TDAC if necessary.
Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)

WARNING: Only trust Thai government websites with .go.th domains or Thai agent websites with .co.th or .in.th domains, as these require verified Thai registration and cannot be registered anonymously.

The official TDAC form is available at tdac.immigration.go.th, which uses the official .go.th government domain.

The services by AGENTS CO., LTD. does NOT charge any fees for arrivals within 72 hours. If you need to book more than 72 hours in advance, there is a service fee of $8.

Do not trust other sites pretending to be a trustworthy agency. Pay attention to delivery time - the service operated by AGENTS CO., LTD. has 1 minute delivery time for arrivals within 72 hours.

Don't fall for sites pretending to be agents.co.th or the official government tdac.immigration.go.th website. Always double-check the exact domain in your browser.

Scam services may take days to process your application, others may not even do anything. With these TDAC scam services you also need to worry about double charges.

Please watch out for TDAC misinformation spread by fugitive Jesse Nickles and his many fake accounts on Quora, TripAdvisor, Reddit, and other platforms.

Much easier to do it from your homecomputer

I don't understand why you would want the hassle of doing it last minute in the immigration line? I will take you 10mins to fill in before you arrive then easy when you land
John *******
Why wait 🤔 Apply within 72 hours before you fly get your QR code and you pass immigration with no stress 😀
Bernard **************
Not true, the are multiple kiosk that can be used to sign up prior to going to the immigration line.
Ernst *********
You have three days to do it before your arrival in Thailand. It is so much more convenient to do it at home before your flight.
Nick ************
You will not get through immigration until you have done it. Sooner the better if you ask me.
Simon *******
Just came back from Vietnam filled in the tdac before I arrived got an instant reply by email ,obviously done ve a computer not a person.

My only problem was I put Nationality as British overseas territory and the immigration person couldn't find it on their computers took a few minutes and they found my mistake let me through ok told me not to do it again.
Oswald *******
You could even do it in your imagination.
Paul ***********
Why on earth would anyone do that when you have 72 hours in advance
Marco ***********
Do it online.... 2 minutes
Muchlis ********
Yes you can.

Coming through immigration last week I watched as many people were sent to the side of the immigration counter to fill out the TDAC.

They either thought they would get it done in time in the queue or just didn’t do it, so they wasted everyone’s time by arriving at the immigration counter totally unprepared.

Others meanwhile were fussing about with it whilst trying to hold their place in line, much to the annoyance of other travellers.

Don’t be those people!

@Wayne ********
thwy used to do that with the paper one. A lot that did the front didn't realise there was the back to fill in too
Jo **********
yes
Jeremy ********
Yes they have kiosks at the airport and WiFi

I came through BKK two days ago. Get it done before you arrive or will just be adding to your own chaos 😂😂

@Jeremy *****
I applied on-line 3 weeks early and paid 272 Baht for some entity to file it within the 3 days. On return, I put ground, albeit, I buy a return flight after I arrive based on length of walk-on permitted stay and price. If need be, I will. get a bus ticket to Laos or Cambodia. Will this be necessary?

@Bill *******
that's above my pay grade. Maybe ask your question on a new thread and some of the really knowledgeable members will help.

@Jeremy *****
how are immigration queues these days?
Jeremy ******
@Jonathan *****
queues were ok but were made worse by those that had not done TDAC as they explain what they need to do then send them back to the iPads to complete
Phil *******
@Jonathan *****
very small when I arrived at 8pm on 14th. I am sure it depends on how many planes arrive at similar time
Kool *******
You can, but that just increases the time you are in a queue waiting, as you are not the only one. That can easily add at least a half hour to your wait to get out of the airport.
Bob **********
Yes

What if your TDAC gets rejected when you apply at Thai airport? You should apply before your flight in case yours is not approved and you are still at your home country.
Lynnette *******
Did people get in this sort of confusion and stress when they filled it in few years ago on the plane, on a bit of paper? It tells you it's for arriving. It tells you within 3 days before landing/arriving.

I'm as old as the hills, not good with online forms but just logged in, put my info, submitted, saved/printed it. 8 mins.
Stephen ********
@Ronald ****
its not an application for anything, more a notification
Muchlis ********
@Ronald ****
that is impossible.

TDAC is not a visa.

It just online arrival card
Ross ********
@Muchlis *******
that costs money don’t forget about the cost
Bernard **************
@Ross *******
false. There is no cost.
Lynnette *******
@Ross *******
it's just a form with your arrival information. There is no cost. Few years ago it was a paper filled in on plane before arriving, now it's digital.
Brandon ************
@Ross *******
the TDAC is free. What cost?
Muchlis ********
@Ross *******
what cost?
Lynnette *******
@Ronald ****
it's not really a form that required approval. It's your declaration of personal info for them to retain.
Robert ********
@Ronald ****
How can it not be approved?
Ronald *****
@Robert *******
maybe the person have been blacklisted from entering? Who knows...it's always best to apply before you board the plane better than you reach there n got denied entry.
Andrew ********
Yes you can if you dont have it when you arrive they will pull you aside scan a qr code and fill it out
Brandon ************
Yes. But there's been many reports of airline staff asking to see your TDAC before allowing you to check-in to your flight. So you better have a plan B if that happens.
Justin *********
@Brandon ***********
yes they do ask .Emirates
Roland **********
