I am holding a retirement visa now for 14 years which has to be renewed th 18.December.
I was married to my Thai wife 20 years ago in Denmark and at that time we made a translation from the Danish marriage certificate to English and to Thai by the university of Denmark by a Danish Thai professor and with stamps from the university.
I like to change my retirement visa to a marriage visa.
Can that be done in Phuket immigration with the proofs we already have.
How do we do it
I would hate to go to Bangkok , hope that it can be done from Phuket.
Thanks for all answers. Bo

Usually any foreign marriage documents need to be translated then certified by Ministry of Foreign Affairs in BKK. The translation may be ok but MFA needs to certify it.
i guess after all those years you visit the Immigration Office once a year and apply for the Extension of Stay, a big stamp. 45 days before this permitted up to period ends you can apply for a new Extension of Stay based on being married to a Thai National. For the latest updated requirements I advice you to make a visit to the Phuket office and ask the hand out.
