Hi good people,I'm from.UK living in Thailand on a visa based on retirement, thinking of getting married shortly to a Thai lady who I have known for long time . Is there any benefit in getting a visa based on marriage apart from 400k,so do I need any other paperwork for immigration other than marriage certificate and does one cancel the other ? or do they run concurrently till retirement run out ? Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently residing in Thailand on a retirement visa and is considering switching to a marriage visa upon marrying a Thai national. They seek information on the benefits of the marriage visa compared to the retirement visa, additional paperwork required (beyond a marriage certificate), and whether they can hold both visas concurrently until the retirement visa expires.
