Hi all, is anyone aware if you can book your DTV visa extension appointment online?

Immigration's online booking system doesn't have an option for "DTV visa extension".

Is it wise to book a "Tourist Visa (TR) Extension" or another category, or do DTV holders have to go to Immigration without a booking?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about the possibility of booking an online appointment for a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) extension in Thailand, noting that the online system lacks a specific option for DTV extensions. Commenters suggested that in Bangkok, DTV extensions are processed alongside Tourist Visa (TR) extensions in Section J, implying that booking a Tourist Visa extension may be a viable alternative.

At least in Bangkok, DTV extensions are handled by Section J, which is the same section that does tourist visa extensions. If there is no DTV option for booking, I would just try the tourist extension option.

be fully aware that to extend the DTV inside Thailand you need all the documents you used to get the visa updated. It is much easier to just do a border bounce, where no documents are needed, except your DTV printout of the PDF.

Yep, I get that. For me it's probably easier to do the extension as I live nearby and do similar kinds of form filling in my line of work. Thanks 😊
