Can I apply for a Thai DTV visa at the HCMC consulate while in Da Nang?
Hey everyone, just wondering if I have to be in the same city as the embassy when applying for the DTV. For example can I be in DaNang while applying through the HCMC Thai embassy/consulate?

You need to be in the area that the embassy has jurisdiction over for the submission of the application, after that you can travel around the country but be aware you can be called in for an interview, and Vietnam usually asks for a very specific proof of location.

No, do not have to be in same city. Being in Danang and applying in Ho Chi Minh is absolutely fine
