Can I apply for a Non-O retirement visa from the US while stopping in Vietnam first?
US passport, 59yo, located in the US using LA consulate. I want to apply for non-o retirement but make a stop for a month in Vietnam first. They want flights from the US to Thailand and then exiting Thailand. Do I just send them the flight from Vietnam to Thailand and hope for the best?
Also, point of embarkation on the app i'll have to list as Vietnam.

just applied for a Non-O visa through Chicago. For the application, I put down my best estimate for when I would be flying to Thailand. I looked up actual flight schedules and used legitimate flight numbers based on the flights I expected to take.
My visa was approved in only five days, so I actually ended up flying to Thailand even sooner than I originally estimated.

Thaiger Tony good luck but it’s a retirement visa why would you need a ticket out ?? I didn’t and nobody I know did onto you
