Hi group! I'm getting prepared to apply for a DTV and have a few questions.
I'd like to apply through the Jakarta office as I'll be in Indonesia soon, but on Sulawesi, not in Jakarta. Do I physically need to go to the Jakarta office, or can I apply fully online from another region of Indonesia?
I'm thinking of applying for the workcation as I'm under contract with an online teaching company (and have been for years), but I'll only have one or two months of recent pay to show. Those who have gone through Jakarta - how many months of income did you need to show? (I'm coming off of a non-b visa, so it's a transition time which is why I'll only have a couple months of recent online pay. I've also plenty of savings to show, so that aspect isn't an issue).
My other option is doing a soft power. I saw that "seminars" was an option. Has anyone done this one? What does it entail?
Thank you everyone! 🙏
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is preparing to apply for a Digital Workcation Visa (DTV) through the Jakarta office while staying in Sulawesi and is inquiring about the possibility of applying online instead of traveling to Jakarta. They also seek guidance on income documentation, specifically how many months of income proof is needed, considering their current online teaching contract. Additionally, they explore alternatives like the Soft Power visa, particularly the seminar option, and seek advice from those with prior experience.
