Good afternoon everyone, I hope you are well.

I am French, living in Uzbekistan and looking to relocate in Thailand. My current work contract goes up to the end of august. Would it be enough to apply for the DTV?

Another question, as living in Uzbekistan the attached consul is in Moscow. Is it possible to do the application fully online ? Not that I would not like to visit Moscow.

Thanks a lot for your help and good luck for all

TLDR : Answer Summary
A French expat currently in Uzbekistan is inquiring about the eligibility and application process for Thailand's Digital Nomad Visa (DTV). The individual is wondering if their current work contract, which ends in August, is sufficient for applying. They are also seeking clarification on whether the application can be completed entirely online, given that their local consulate is in Moscow. Responses suggest that the DTV can be applied for online and advise contacting the consulate for specific application requirements and to explain the intention to work remotely from Thailand.

Indeed, the idea is to carry on with this contract remotely from Thailand as it can be and as it is mentioned in my contract.

I will try again to contact the consulate in Moscow ! Thanks a lot for your help

If your work contract is in Uzbekistan and you are required to be in Uzbekistan to fulfil that contract then it wouldn't work for a DTV application. Only if you can work remotely from Thailand

The DTV has to be applied for fully online as a e-visa through the embassy/consulate that serves your area. Whether a contract up to august is sufficient I guess only your consulate can decide. Try to apply and explain your situation as a freelance/remote worker and that you will continue with this with a new contract and klients after the current one expires.
