Hello, I want to do the Elite 5 year visa as there are not really any other options (except border bounces which I have done and do not want to do again and I want to be legal.) My question is, I usually leave the country 3 times a year and when I get stamped in and out on my Elite visa, another year starts. So if I get stamped out every 4 months and a new year starts, how does that work? I am just not fully understanding this? Thanks for any clarification

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Thailand Elite 5-year visa allows for unlimited exits and entries, with each entry granting a new yearly stamp. If the visa holder exits every four months, they will receive a new year entry stamp each time they return. However, there is clarification needed on whether exiting just before the 5-year expiry would extend the visa duration, as some users noted it could stretch effectively to around 6 years, although this would not confer additional Elite privileges.

OP already got answers to her original question.

Please ask Thailand Elite about how to get the program or how Elite services work.

Question, if it's valid for 5 years will an exit/entry just before the 5 year expiry stamp you in for another 1 year, effectively making it 6ish years?

FYI, Elite Visa customer service is super responsive and nice, don't be shy to contact them.

The 5 year elite visa works like this.

It is a visa that is valid for unlimited exits/entries to thailand during the validity (5 years from the date of issue) EVERY entry into the country gets you stamped in for a whole new year. So if you leave/come back every 4 months you'll get a new year entry stamp every time you come back.
