Asking for a friend,
Sorry if this question been asked already.
Is it possible to convert tourist visa to guardian visa while on Amnesty?
They did their traditional Thai marriage and have one kid but they didn't do illagle marriage yet.
If so what are the requirements?
Thanks.
TLDR : Answer Summary
A tourist visa cannot be converted to a guardian visa while on amnesty in Thailand. It might be possible to obtain a 60-day family extension if the individual has a half-Thai child out of wedlock and has legal parental rights confirmed by family court. Subsequently, a 90-day Non-O visa could be applied for, provided the conditions of proof of funds are met.
