Hello all.

If a non b visa holder has not done a 90 day check in, but wishes to now end the visa, would that person be allowed to exit the country, and return on a tourist visa? Would there be any issues regarding overstay even though the visa is still valid but the 90 day check in wasn't done?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Non-B visa holder who has missed their 90-day check-in may still exit Thailand but needs to understand that they can be fined for not complying with the reporting requirement. Furthermore, if they wish to apply for a new tourist visa upon returning, their eligibility may depend on their stay history in Thailand. It is advisable to cancel any extension of stay or work permit before leaving.

The fact you're required to do 90 day reports suggests you might be on an extension of stay rather than a visa? If that's the case you need to cancel your work permit and then go to immigration to cancel your extension of stay. If immigration notice you haven't done your 90 day report you will have to pay a small fine.

Are you now in the first 90 days of the Non B Visa you have in your passport?

Who are you asking for? Yourself??

What is your passport nation?

Depending on your recent and prior history of staying in Thailand, you may or may not be able to get a NEW tourist visa.
