Are Emirates Airlines checking for visa types like O-A for flights to Bangkok?
Emirates business class flight tonight from Gatwick UK.
Big smile at check in..” Destination Bangkok, returning 20th November, travelling on a tourist visa ? “ I replied, no, O-A visa. ...” Excellent, enjoy your flight”.... They really are checking, must have a few returns I think .

Answer summary
A traveler shared their experience at Gatwick Airport check-in for an Emirates business class flight to Bangkok, highlighting that the staff checked the type of visa (O-A) before allowing boarding. This suggests that airlines may be strict about verifying visa types for flights to Thailand.
