TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses eligibility for a Thai passport for a foreigner, specifically a Bangladeshi national married to a Thai citizen. The consensus from responses is that while it is challenging, it is possible to eventually attain citizenship through steps like obtaining a Non O Visa, maintaining a certain bank balance, and living in Thailand for a specified period. Several commenters suggest applying for permanent residency first, while others highlight the leniency afforded by marriage to a Thai national. The process is clarified as complex, with emphasis on the importance of language fluency and financial requirements.

Hi Roman. It’s quite a long and difficult process to get a Thai passport. However, you have a type O visa which you can convert to a Thai marriage visa. This is renewed once a year . You will have to show where you live and a bank statement showing at least four hundred thousand baht. The complete details are on the Thai embassy website.

I think you can actually buy citizenship with passport but it is very expensive.

It's possible, it's difficult and not many do it but it is possible. It's easier if you are married, you can skip the permanent residence in that case.

You need to fulfil the following four criterias to be eligible for PR.

1. Live in Thailand consecutively for three years on valid Non O extensions.

2. Have three year consecutive work permit from Thai employer.

3. Have a minimum income of 40,000 baht per month and have paid tax for three years on that income.

4. Married to a Thai.

So start living in Thailand with Non O extension first then think of PR later.

If you hold the same visa non o single entry three years no breaks. Wp 3 years 40,000 thb a month no breaks. You can then apply with no pr for Thai citizenship. The law changed 2009 without wp it’s possible but need pr first I think around 10 years. There is also points you have to accumulate
******
you need age what job you do and level of thai that sort of thing but from my understanding possible with limited thai but need to score the points in other ways. Good luck!

You can do it quicker than that if you are married, 3 years.

You should apply for permanent resident first which is not easy. Then you should live in Thailand for few years, be fluent in thai language, plus money in your account. But first step is applying for permanent resident. But honestly it's very very long story, don't waste your time and money, live on non O visa better

no way pal . but, if you were woman to marry thai man ,then you would get citizenship .

First you have to register the marriage in Thailand Without registration you cannot do anything. Registration for Bangladeshis require huge paper work from Bangladesh and Thailand.
